“Bias for Growth didn’t begin as a company. It began as a small experiment, a personal-growth newsletter inside Amazon.
At the time, I was a Global Quality Auditor working across multiple teams, cultures, and languages. One thing was always clear: people were often overwhelmed, and running on autopilot. They weren’t lacking talent or skills. They were lacking constant, meaningful motivation, the kind that cuts through noise, fits into a busy day, and actually sticks.

So I started sending short weekly newsletters to my colleagues, simple, powerful reminders to help them stay focused, grounded, and inspired. No long articles. No fluff. Just bite-sized motivation designed for real people with real workloads.
I didn’t expect what happened next.

Those messages spread. Team members forwarded them. Managers shared them. Entire departments started reading them before starting their day. What began as a small internal newsletter turned into a quiet movement. Thousands of employees inside Amazon were reading Bias for Growth every week, using it to reset, stay motivated, and shift how they approached their work, their goals, and their challenges.

Soon, something interesting happened. Executives from other high-performance, mindset-driven companies reached out. They wanted the same thing for their teams. They wanted a consistent system that reinforced focus, accountability, resilience, and growth.

That’s when I realized Bias for Growth wasn’t just helping individuals. It had the potential to change entire company cultures. And so, Bias for Growth became what it is today: A daily motivation system for companies that want their people to think better, feel better, and perform better, consistently.
